So I tried out the LFR feature today and I can definitely say it's tuned very low. I don't think this is a bad thing, because it will get people raiding, but it definitely felt like a 5 man with a bunch of other people stealing your gear. I was queuing as DPS, so your mileage may vary.

The queue was pretty quick, about the same as a normal dungeon run and so far there's been someone in the group to give the 5 second explanation that will get you through the fight. There are videos out there so it doesn't hurt to watch them if you want something more specific than "don't stand in the bad and kill this before that."

Right now only the first 4 bosses of Dragon Soul are available for the LFR, but I think next week the last four are supposed to open up. That means you too will get to kill Deathwing!



Minimum gear requirement is something like 372 365 which is doable with gear from the new five mans and 4.2's Valor gear becoming purchasable with Justice tokens. The new five mans go very quickly and feel like Wrath Heroics. End Time has some very fun boss fights in them. Murazond. ZOMG.

Redryn should be iLvl 372 by this weekend. I'll be queuing for LFR (done it a couple times already on another character) Saturday at 2pm server time. I'd love some guild company.
